What thoughts are racing through your mind? Are they thoughts of faith or fear? There are always reasons for anxiety in this world, and that means we must choose to set our hearts on Jesus even when the pressure is pulling us in every other direction. In Luke 12:24-28, Jesus illustrates how much greater His love is than the concerns we face. Jesus takes our burdens on Himself; He showed us that on the cross. He is with us every second, and His Word shows how He works to bring us closer to Him.As we celebrate Easter, let's take a moment to focus on the depth of God's plan for us. Outside of your church service or family dinner, how can you spend private time with Jesus to thank Him and feel His peace? Whether you meditate on Scripture or simply pour out your thoughts to Jesus, you can experience the gift of His resurrection through His presence. No matter who you are or what you've done, He will hear your praise.

Here's a heartfelt poem by Marcy Nielsen to help you reflect on the power and comfort of Jesus’ grace:
This is a fact and won’t be changed: Christ paid the price that day; on that rugged cross where He was laid to save my soul from death.I’ve done nothing to deserve His love, favor, and grace; yet the Bible tells me instead: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”I’ve realized that His love is bigger than my anger or the pain I’ve carried inside. He knows the times when I feel lost and the thoughts that cross my mind.He sees the tears behind my smile and the wounds I secretly hide.He knows when I’m afraid or when I tremble in the night. His love is bigger than my flaws or the shame that tears me apart. His love is deeper than the doubts and fears that reside within my heart.I looked for answers throughout the years and longed for the pain to go away.Instead, hope seemed to disappear, and dreams diminished by the day. There was a place within my heart that only God could fulfill, and only He could restore what I could not of my own will. When there was nothing left in me, when I couldn’t take one more step,I closed my eyes, fell to my knees, and let faith take it from there.
